Credential Report in NCM

The Credential Report in Site24x7's Network Configuration Manager (NCM) provides a comprehensive overview of the credentials associated with your network devices. This report helps you validate the credential mappings and verify configuration backup readiness across devices in your network.

Use cases

  • Credential validation: Identify devices with missing or incorrect credentials and update them to ensure successful backups.

  • Backup monitoring: Track which devices are being backed up successfully and which ones require attention.

  • Inventory management: Get insights into OS types, versions, and models across the network for compliance and auditing.

Generating the report

  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account.

  2. Navigate to Reports > NCM Device > Credential Report in the All Monitors section.

  3. The report displays a list of network devices with their respective life cycle data.

  4. Use the Group by drop-down to group devices based on parameters such as Vendor, On-Premise Poller, Device Template, and more.

  5. Use the Filters option to narrow down the report as needed.

  6. Use the Share This button in the top-right corner to export the report in CSV or PDF format, email the report, or schedule the report.

  7. Hover over a device name and click the open in a new tab icon to view the monitor summary.

  8. Click the column  icon to customize additional columns in the Credential Report.
